Husbands say funny things too...

The husb has been desperately hoping for snow for the past couple months.  We are predicted to get a snow storm (well, 1-2 inches) tonight.  He doesn't think it is going to happen.  Why?

"Because we don't get to have nice things."

Mommy can't fly

We saw a Pagan bumper sticker today on our way home for dinner the other night. I said that I needed that.

Spud asked why, so I explained that it was a Pagan bumper sticker, and Mommy is pretty much Pagan.
He looked at me and said very seriously, "But Mommy, you don't look like a flying horse."

Do they offer that for 4 year olds?

"Mommy, I don't want to do T-ball.  I think I'll do sword fighting instead."

Do you know how much yellow is on your way to work?

I do.  Spud was kind enough to point out every yellow thing on our drive to daycare today.  And yes, every little dash in the middle of the road counts.

Yellow!  Yellow!  Yellow!

It's a code

I try very hard not to use Spud's real name on the internet.  We are not cruel enough to have actually named him Spud, and he doesn't even answer to it in real life.  But, this was too funny not to share.  Decipher his code if you want to know his real name (if anyone reads this who doesn't know).

Talking to himself while writing his name on a drawing:

"One line up with two lines off.  Zero.  Line with curvy line.  Curly.  Squiggle.  Line with another line."

There you have it.  Spud's real name.  LOL
